My artwork is created using alcohol inks, a medium that allows for vibrant color, fluid movement, and striking depth.
I specialize in custom, one-of-a-kind commissions in a wide range of sizes and finishes. Each piece is thoughtfully designed in collaboration with you to capture your vision for color, composition, and overall mood.
Because every artwork is handcrafted and original, no two pieces are ever the same. From initial concept to final finish, commissions typically take approximately 2–4 weeks to complete, depending on size and materials.

Meet Kate
Kate is a Cancer Coach and Registered
Nurse whose creative journey began as a way
to bring balance to the emotional intensity of
her daily work.
What started as a personal outlet soon
evolved into a meaningful artistic practice,
with her pieces now collected both across the
United States and internationally.
Her signature motif—the butterfly—serves as
a powerful symbol of hope, transformation,
and resilience. Each wing is intentionally
jagged, a reflection of a life shaped by
adventure, challenge, and growth. Accents of
18K gold ink or chrome illuminate the edges,
celebrating the beauty found in imperfection.
Through her art, Kate offers a visual
reminder that fragility and strength can
coexist—and that, like butterflies, we are all
capable of extraordinary transformation.
My Inspiration
My early childhood was spent in Lae, Papua New Guinea.
The huge iridescent butterflies, exquisite tropical plants and the intensity and lushness of jungle colors still saturate my memories.
The energy in a building tropical thunderstorm and richness of the culture surrounding me, developed my love of color, and exquisite detail to be found in nature.
My work is inspired by these early childhood experiences in the tropics, as well as my love of the striking colors in the Australian landscape and raw beauty of her coastline.
Painting is my passion, my meditation and my recalibration.
